A short-lived, but lively, band from Grand Rapids, Bear Hugs did their fellow animals well. They wrote the book on anthropomorphic pop songs. All of their songs are about animals from an animal's perspective. Truly one of a kind. The "Acoustic Demos" tape is one of very few releases from a special band. Oh yeah, they also had a member of the Michigan pop punk band, North Lincoln.
