Though seemingly doomed from the start by a volatile relationship (which did eventually implode), Patience Please were a highly ambitious band, influenced by the music of Elvis Costello, the Magnetic Fields, the Weakerthans and Superchunk, as well as the essence and spirit of indiepop itself. This was our first release, recorded in a cold garage in February 2006, and released in time for a cross-country tour that summer. The vinyl version comes in a spraypainted/screened sleeve.
First EP from this great Seattle poppy indie rock band.
Featuring Chris Mac of Jigsaw Records, Sandy City, Sure Toss, and iji on the drums.
