Twelve new songs from Josh Redman, of 5432Fun!! and Watercolor Paintings fame, written over the course of the last two years. Clever and purely heartfelt songs about community, friendships, materialism, anxiety and his beloved beard. These songs were recorded in a matter of a couple hours at his childhood home in his underwear on an inexpensive handheld tape recorder. “Mastered” by Jon Manning and Lost Sound Tapes to prepare for duplication, while keeping most of the hiss and all of the sincerity intact. Josh has an uncanny ability to touch the heart of a matter with his baritone ukulele and honest lyrics. Production value in this case is unimportant, the value of these songs are in the sentiments and immediacy.
